In a world where reality changes twice a year, what would your characters do? Here in Mainland, things are always on the move. People show up for reasons of their own, but most are just trying to get away from life. It’s a fresh start for everyone, but it comes with a cost. The roll of a die determines your social status in the world, but otherwise, the world is free to behold.
So what’s the catch: your characters don’t know what’s happening to them. Every time the Switch happens, they lose bits of themselves, and the only way to prevent this memory loss, is to buy your way through. Otherwise, they might wake up the next day unable to recognize their own lover.
